Chavis Jr., the iconic figure who served as youth coordinator to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and who remains one of the Civil Rights Movement’s most revered figures, has agreed to join Sen. Joe Lieberman and Gov. Larry Hogan as our national co-chair. This is just another sign of how our movement to unify the country is growing stronger.
